Join the W2AC team and use your own talents for goodness and the survival of visual art in the Bronx! Listed below are several ways for you to get involved and feel free to contact us if you think of anything else.

Are you a photographer, graphic designer, social media specialist, or have other helpful skills? We’d love to have help with projects requiring these skills. Be sure to stay up-to-date with our website and our Facebook and Instagram pages for any needs.

INTERNSHIPS: For high school seniors or college age students.

Board of Directors: We are looking for individuals to join our organization's board of directors. The Board will support the work of Westchester Square Art Center (W2AC) and provide mission-based leadership and strategic governance.

Administrative Assistant: Certainly the most necessary position to fill. We are faced by an array of daily tasks – and it takes a lot to keep up! This may be helping with communications, filing paperwork, organizing monthly calendar/schedules, or any number of projects. Our studio has a relaxed setting – no worries!

Grant Writing Volunteer: Fulfill an important and meaningful role as we pursue grant funding for our projects and administration. In this position the individual will be immersed in our grant research and grant writing work. The individual will provide essential research for the development of our grant application strategy, and will draft and produce grant proposals.

Graphic Design Intern: We are always attempting to keep our marketing material fresh and engaging, let alone plenty of other design projects. Want to put your visual flair to use? Help us look good!

Social Media Intern: Extremely time-consuming; we know! But social media is a great way to keep people in the loop about class schedules, what we are up to, and how to help. If you have a knack for social media and want to help us out – let us know!

Volunteer Figure Drawing Model: Whether you are a first-timer or an experienced model, help us expose individuals to a true visual art experience and fill a role essential to artistic development.

In addition we can always use help in spreading awareness about the lack of access to visual arts in the Bronx and showing people how they can help. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram and share these pages with your friends.
